Through the leadership of our Studio Directors and collaboration with Curtin University, Australia and University of Technology Malaysia, IDA's research output has been well received through publishing his research works in high impact factor scientific journals such as Frontiers of Architectural Research (Elsevier), Journal of Information Technology in Construction, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management and and international academic conferences.
our research publications
Our research explores actual projects then assess problems and collaborate with academic community then create a “think tank” of ideas and explorations. Practice-based research intertwine with academe gives architectural practices the opportunity to communicate related problems then offer an empirical evidence of problems and how it works. Findings of these researches are fed back into the academic research laboratories. The outcome is the communicated through presented/published in academic conferences, high impact factor journal and books

Our interests aims to undertake inquiry of design problems into research and contribute to design practice. The point of exploration builds around practice-based problems to advance knowledge at the academe by means of research by design in order to gain new knowledge, processes, tools and new understanding of design theories. By bridging the gap between academe and practice, it enables to challenge the existing theories through projects then turns into a fascinating research.
our research interests are within the three distinct domains of architecture. computational design, sustainable design, and hospitality design
