ArcStudio was conceptualized by Runddy Ramilo in Singapore in 2009 and formally inaugurated on August 2011 in Cebu City, Philippines. His vision is to help aspiring architects and creative construction professionals by bringing a quality and affordable review courses in the province without going to Manila but at attending the review course at their door steps.
He started the center with seven students which grows to 15 during design module enrolled for the January 2012 Architecture Licensure Examinations with almost all subjects taught by him. All seven students passed the said licensure exam garnering the Top 1, Top 7 and 8. From then on, ArcStudio became the fastest growing and most innovative architecture review center in the Philippines. To cater the students in Mindanao, a new branch in Davao was set-up in 2013, which eventually followed by Legazpi, Pampanga, Iloilo, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Bohol and Singapore. It became the first to reached architecture and interior design reviewees in Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Panay Islands, Northern Luzon and Singapore.

Today, ArcStudio has nine branches catering all over Philippines and one in Singapore. All branches are uniformly committed to serve future architects and other technical professionals realize their dreams through providing innovative and effective exam preparations and increasing the passing percentage of examinees in the licensure exams.
As the Founder and Studio Director, Runddy Ramilo manages the development and execution of all academic activities including design research, publications, curriculum development, operations and still on majority of teaching. He designed the institute as a center for advanced studies an alternative school of architecture crafted to disseminate knowledge of the built environment.

As Practicing Architect
Runddy Ramilo brings with him over 20 years of practice experience from world's best architectural firms in Singapore. He is the Design Principal of International Design Associates (IDA), a Singapore based company with offices in the Philippines and representative in Middle East. As a Design Principal, he is accountable for the creative creative works and delivery of the projects undertaken by IDA. Aside from IDA, he is a Senior Consultant and Country Lead at HKS Architects (Worlds Top 3 Design Firm) leading the business development in the Philippines. Prior to setting-up IDA, he was an Associate at Aedas where he leads a team of designers and architects for Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts in Singapore. He also served as Design Manager at Wilson and Associates and Associate at Designphase Hospitality where he gained vast experiences in numerous branded luxury hotel and resorts projects in Singapore, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Dubai.

He is Registered APEC & ASEAN Architect, LEED Green Associate (US Green Building Council) a member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Charter President of United Architects of the Philippines in Singapore.

As Reviewer
As Reviewer for Architecture Licensure Examination for 11 years, he produces topnotch students who garnered the 1st Place, 3rd Place, 4th Place, 7th Place, 8th Place, 9th Place, 12th Place with 82% to 100% passing percentage. With his leadership, ArcStudio was able to position itself to be the most innovative and fastest growing architecture review center with 8 branches all over Philippines and one in Singapore. From July 2011 to present, he produced board topnotchers and more 3000 new architects who successfully passed the Philippine Architecture Licensure Examinations. He crafted several handbooks for architecture and interior design licensure examinations that is now being used all over Philippines.

As Lecturer
He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Architectural Design at the College of Architecture, Adamson University. He was also an Assistant Professor for Advanced Structures and Masters Thesis at the Master of Architecture Program, Graduate School, College of Architecture and Fine Arts, University of San Carlos, Philippines where continuously supervises thesis for Master of Architecture. He was the adviser of the first and second graduate of Master of Architecture at CAFA-University of San Carlos. He was also a Lecturer for Architecture back then at Far Eastern University, Adamson University and National University in Manila, Philippines.

As Researcher
He published his research works in highly ranked international journals and presented in conferences in Australia, America, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and China. His research interests are within the three distinct domains of architecture: sustainable design in the tropics, computational design management and hospitality design. Focusing on this research works, his research output were published in highly ranked international referred journals and conferences like International Journal of Architectural Computing, Journal of Information Technology in Construction, Frontiers of Architectural Research (Elsevier) Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management, International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management, International Journal of Information Technology and Management and Arab Society for Computer Aided Architectural Design (ASCAAD).
He is currently a Peer Reviewer at Frontiers of Architectural Research (Elsevier) and Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management (ScienceDirect).
