Our Environmental Planning Licensure Examination Review Course covers areas in which examinees are expected to have knowledge and understanding and competencies when they start to practice the environmental planning profession
overview
Based on PD 1308 and BEP Resolution No. 4 Series of 1994, the modules are divided into five (5) major subjects such as Physical Planning, Social Planning, Economic Planning, Planning Law and Administration and Special Planning Studies.

Duration & mode of delivery

The course is normally around 3 Months, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM
June Interior Design Licensure Exam - Classes starts on 1st week of April up to 1st week of July

Aligned with the core objectives, learning and teaching methods will draw on an appropriate balance of delivery modes. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, teaching will be delivered through Live Instructed-Led Online and Face to Face (if already allowed).
module 1: fundamental course
​
Physical Planning
This subject reviews the understanding of the basis factors that have influenced the development of cities and regions. Specific topics are city growth and spatial planning theories, evolution, concepts, and types of planning, land use planning and management, principles, process or methodology and application, site analysis and site planning, space allocation and siting of infrastructure and transport requirements, preservation, conservation, management and sustainable development of the natural and built environment.

Social Planning
This covers the analysis and systematic assessment of needs and resources that will bring about improvements the quality of life. Population and demography, education and human resource development, housing and human settlements, health and nutrition, social welfare, protective services, culture, sports and recreation.

Economic Planning
This reviews the understanding and analysis of models, methods and other key analytical tools in development planning. Topics are but not limited to development planning theories, analytical tools in urban and regional planning, statistical, financial, economic, policy, planning and implementation of the different economic sub-sectors.

Planning Law and Administration
Specific topics are, institutional framework for planning, tools for plan implementation and enforcement, eminent domain, taxation, and other regulatory measures, planning standards, laws, rules and regulations, certification of environmental planners and standards of professional practice

Special Planning Studies
This subject reviews the application of logical approach to planning specific areas integrating the physical, economic, social, financial and institutional requirements of development in a coordinated and integrated system.

Module 2: refresher and rationalization
​
Refresher and Rationalization
A 5-days intense course where students are refreshed from the basic module undertaken. This is normally done through questions and answer forums of past board exam questions where students are equip with the complete knowledge they need for successfully passing the board exam. After the refresher there will be a mandatory mock board exam so students will experience how they would feel given the same exam scenario.
